See you at Stockholm Furniture Fair!
From February 4–8, Belid Lighting Group will be attending the Stockholm Furniture Fair. You can find us in Hall A, Booth A04:21, where we will showcase our latest collection, Belle, designed by Notchi Architects. We will also present the possibilities of our Custom Lighting concept – bespoke lighting solutions for all types of projects.

We will be exhibiting at the Stockholm Furniture Fair in February, where we will showcase exciting product collaborations and new hotel projects! New Bird with Färg & Blanche, Mate Collection with Lyhne Design, and Boo designed by Thomas Sandell will be featured. Additionally, we want to share what we have accomplished at the newly opened Clarion Hotel Draken and other projects like Jacy’z, Ellery Beach House, and more. BELID LIGHTING GROUP- Supporting Ågrenska in the Transitioning to Sustainable Lighting
Since last year, mercury-containing light sources have been banned in the EU, leading to a transition towards more efficient and energy-saving alternatives across the country. As part of this transition, we have initiated a charity project in collaboration with Ågrenska, a national competence center for individuals with special health conditions and disabilities. The project aims to support Ågrenska in replacing or renewing nearly 1,000 fixtures with more sustainable alternatives.
Belid Lighting Group – Lighting Up the New Hotel Draken
Hotel Draken, Gothenburg's new landmark spanning 34 floors, has opened its doors, welcoming visitors to an exclusive hotel experience. Guests are greeted with a breathtaking view of Gothenburg, culinary delights, and a meeting scene, all in a meticulously designed environment. Our contribution has been to create the perfect lighting for both the common areas and the 474 hotel rooms.

At Hammerensgade 4, a world of design and innovation awaits as we, together with our friends at Götessons Design Group, invite you to the "DARE TO DREAM" event. During these days, you can explore the Bird Collection by Färg & Blanche, a creative design collaboration that unites craftsmanship and industrial processes.
Belid Lighting Group signs framework agreement with Danish municipalities.
After several years of development, we have signed our largest framework agreement to date. Following a joint innovation project with the municipalities of Copenhagen and Aarhus, the parties have now signed the agreement, and product deliveries will commence in the fall.
10 000 SEK to Varberg Parasport
With great pleasure, together with our main owner Accent Equity, we are awarding the "Together Scholarship" of 10,000 SEK to Varberg Parasport. The award ceremony took place at Belid Lighting Group’s headquarters where our CEO Peter Tafazoli awarded the scholarship to Roger Alstersjö, an engaged leader at Parasport.

Tobias Laarmå - New Product Development Manager
For a couple of months, Tobias Laarmå has been the new product development manager at Belid Lighting Group. Tobias has solid experience in the industry and most recently comes from Global Lighting Consulting where he worked with product development and before that as product manager at Ateljé Lyktan. We asked three quick questions to hear Tobias' view on trends and what's going on both in the industry and at Belid Lighting Group.
What trends do you see in the lighting industry in general?
Trends come and go, but above all we have a shift in both technology and awareness of environmental issues where recycled materials and a circular approach to product development are here to stay. Ever since LED came out over ten years ago, the design of lamps has changed in parallel. With a smaller light source, the luminaires also became slimmer - but now I think I see a backlash to this with ever larger screens and shapes. Offices are increasingly being furnished like a living room, it should be cozy - without losing good function. We also increasingly see renewable materials such as wood and recycled aluminium.
What's up at Belid Lighting Group?
There is a lot going on in Varberg now. This autumn, we launched a collaboration with Thomas Sandell, who developed a new series of outdoor lighting for Belid. We are also growing in the so-called professional market, with lighting for public environments. In November we have e.g. delivered lighting to the new hotel Jacy'z in Gothenburg. This is a segment where we have fantastic conditions with factory and production only a stone's throw from the office. We can produce customized lighting, completely according to need and minimize the risk of overproduction.
What attracted you most about the new service?
I probably have to say the manufacturing at home - with a factory only a few meters from the office in Varberg. This creates both opportunities and is just right in time, from the perspective of sustainability and the logistics aspect in mind. It is truly a privilege to be able to look into the factory and follow the products from idea to finished fixture at such close range.
